Meet Our Advisors
We’re a woman-owned business, but we don’t think that alone makes us the authority on all things women. We try our best not to pigeon hole women into a certain category. We’re committed to asking and learning and we will always grow and evolve based on what we hear from you.
That's where GAB comes in!
GAB (the Gladys Advisory Board) is made up of racers, commuters, road riders, two-wheeled explorers, bike campers and recreational cyclists who meet monthly offer their diverse perspectives and experiences to make sure that Gladys Bikes is listening to our customers and representing a broad spectrum of women.

Favorite Bike Ride: The annual mid September ride with my fella from home to a dive bar in Boring, Or via the spring water corridor. The ride is just shy of 50 miles of easy riding and great conversation. The Timber Pub & Grub is the mid ride destination point. Fun fact: at the bar we were once asked if we were related...
If you could invent one product for women who ride bikes, it would be.... A line of gender neutral perfect fitting clothing made from beautiful breathable fabrics designed for girls who ride bikes and live to play outdoors but don't want to look technical. I would call this "Tom Boy".

Kathy Lombardi
Occupation: Environmental Engineer by day, semi-pro daydreamer all times
Favorite Bike: A borrowed 1985 Colnago Victory. Red. Chrome fork. It felt like freedom and so that’s where we headed. These days, my Globe Daily just makes me grin and I like to grin.
Favorite Saddle: The ultimate trick question. Currently, I ride a Selle Italia Ldy Gel Flow. A few more fit adjustments and I could be living the dream. I hope.
Favorite Bike Ride: The sweetest single track outside of Crested Butte. Chock full of wildflowers, crazy climbs, gorgeous (and fast) descents.
If you could invent one product for women who ride bikes, it would be... Clothes that look sharp and work smart. Clothes that don’t holler hey, I just came from that big friendly outdoor store over there.

If you could invent one product for women who ride bikes, it would be... Pants that look like normal pants but don't wear holes through the butt when I bike in them.

Kristin Bott
Occupation: Instructional technologist/analytical nerd
Favorite Bikes: I love many, but my daily ride is a singlespeed Salsa Casseroll, a do-it-all bike with shiny fenders and scratched paint.
Favorite Saddle: Still searching for an ideal fit; big hips need wide rails, though.
Favorite Bike Rides: Bouncing over unimproved roadways in SE Portland; riding home on the first warm-ish clear evening of the year when you can see stars, again, finally; keeping pace with and/or passing traffic.
If you could invent one product for women who ride bikes, it would be... Are "safe streets" or "elvin SWAT teams to hunt down and shame catcallers/frightening or aggressive people" products?
